Machine Operator – 1st Shift
Schedule: 1st Shift | 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Pay: $19.00 per hour

Position Summary
We are looking for a dependable and motivated Machine Operator to join our production team. This position is responsible for safely and efficiently operating production equipment while helping ensure production goals, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met.
The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, takes pride in their work, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Start up, operate, monitor, adjust, and properly shut down production equipment.
- Help organize and coordinate line activities to maintain an efficient production flow.
- Assist with making boxes, loading cartons, packaging finished products, and keeping production materials stocked.
- Inspect products throughout the production process to ensure quality standards are met.
- Meet or exceed daily production requirements.
- Monitor equipment and make appropriate adjustments to support production and quality goals.
- Notify maintenance or a supervisor of mechanical or electrical equipment issues.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and legible production records.
- Monitor and control scrap and material waste.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area using proper sanitation procedures.
- Follow all safety, quality, sanitation, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements.
- Help ensure breaks and lunch schedules are followed appropriately by the production line.
- Assist other machine operators and production team members as needed.
- Report food safety or product quality concerns to the appropriate supervisor or Quality Assurance personnel.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for the entire shift.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds and up to 50 pounds when required.
- Ability to walk, bend, kneel, and regularly use hands and fingers.
- Ability to climb a ladder when necessary for cleaning or production-related tasks.
Qualifications
- Previous machine operating or industrial manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Dependable and self-motivated.
- Strong work history and attendance.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a production team.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and productivity.
Compensation: $19.00 per hour
