We are currently seeking motivated and dependable Pipe Test Operators to join our manufacturing team!

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with basic welding knowledge who enjoy hands-on work, take pride in producing quality products, and want to continue learning in a team-oriented environment.

You don't have to be an experienced welder to be considered! If you've completed welding courses at a technical school or community college, have entry-level MIG welding experience, and know how to read blueprints, we encourage you to apply!

What You'll Be Doing

As a Pipe Test Operator, you'll play an important role in ensuring welded pipe assemblies meet our quality and safety standards.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Performing pressure testing on welded pipe assemblies using Nitrogen/Hydrogen gas to identify leaks and potential defects.

  • Setting up and operating testing equipment, including gauges, gaskets, flanges, couplings, and seals.

  • Inspecting welded joints and identifying leaks, weld defects, or other quality concerns.

  • Using your basic welding knowledge to recognize potential issues with welded components.

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, work instructions, and testing procedures.

  • Recording testing results and maintaining accurate inspection documentation.

  • Following established safety procedures and properly using required personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Working closely with supervisors and team members to maintain quality and production goals.

  • Assisting with other production-related tasks as needed.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for individuals who are eager to learn, dependable, and ready to contribute to a hardworking team!

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Basic welding experience or formal welding education, including introductory MIG welding knowledge.

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints.

  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions and safety procedures.

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.

  • Dependable attendance, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.

  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Additional Experience That's a Plus:

  • Previous manufacturing or industrial experience.

  • Hands-on MIG welding experience.

  • Experience inspecting welded components or identifying weld defects.

  • Familiarity with pipe testing, pressure gauges, or mechanical testing equipment.

  • Technical school or community college welding coursework or certification.

Recent welding graduates and entry-level welders are strongly encouraged to apply!

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on manufacturing position that may require:

  • Standing and walking throughout the shift.

  • Occasional bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and gripping.

  • Lifting up to 10 lbs. continuously, 10–20 lbs. frequently, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

  • Working safely around industrial machinery and testing equipment.

  • Adequate vision to inspect components, read gauges, and identify potential defects.

Why You'll Love This Opportunity

We believe that a great work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the right attitude can open the door to an exciting career!

Here's what makes this opportunity worth considering:

  • Competitive Starting Pay: Earn $19.00/hour on 1st shift or $20.00/hour on 2nd shift.

  • Entry-Level Welding Experience Welcome: Put your welding education or basic MIG welding skills to use.

  • Opportunity to Grow: Gain valuable hands-on experience in pipe testing, quality inspection, and manufacturing.

  • Team-Oriented Environment: Work alongside experienced manufacturing professionals.

U.S. Equal Opportunity Employment Information (Completion is voluntary)

We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.

You are being given the opportunity to provide the following information in order to help us comply with federal and state Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action record keeping, reporting, and other legal requirements.

Completion of the form is entirely voluntary. Whatever your decision, it will not be considered in the hiring process or thereafter. Any information that you do provide will be recorded and maintained in a confidential file.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
